W książce pojawiła się podobna opcja: dajmon-delfin. Na szczęście właściciel był marynarzem :)

To było w pierwszym tomie (tylko ten czytałam), jak Lyra płynęła gdzieś statkiem. Jeden z marynarzy miał dajmonę-delfina, a dajmon Lyry też na jakiś czas zamienił się w rybę, i ona się bała, że już tak zostanie, a sama będzie musiała żyć na morzu. Ale to nie był jakiś wielki wątek.
