Least Favourite character: From the main cast? Paradoxically, Angel himself XD.
5 Favourite ships (canon or non-canon): Wesley/Lilah, Wesley/Fred, Wesley/Illyria, Wesley/Faith... oh, wait, I can ship other characters than Wesley? Angelus/ Darla.
Character I find most attractive: Wesley. SMART IS SEXY, ok?
Character I would marry: OMG, Alex, do you want me to live in an unhappy marriage?
Character I would be best friends with: Wesley, again. I could listen to him being all geeky! And we could get drunk together!
A random thought: Wasn't the puppet episode just glorious?
An unpopular opinion: I don't mind Connor. In no universe is he my favorite character, but I don't hate him the way most people seem to hate him.
Canon OTP: Wesley/Fred. It's so openly based on romantic delusions I could analyse the hell out of it!
Non-canon OTP: does Wesley/Illyria count as non-canon?
Most badass character: can we please just name this show "Wesley the Series" and be done with it?
Pairing I am not a fan of: Angel/Cordelia. I don't really dislike it, it just didn't manage to catch my attention at all.
Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): CORDELIA. What was this crazyass thing in s4, HUH?
Favourite friendship: I know it's barely there in canon, but my head!canon is full of amazing Wesley&Spike moments with a lot of whisky and Shakespeare quotes.
Character I want to adopt or be adopted by: THEY WOULD ALL BE HORRIBLE PARENTS! But I always wanted to be Spike's big sister ;).

+ Haha, I am the only person in this bar who actually loves Angel. I don't actually talk about it much, but he is a fascinating character to me. NOT as a ~hero, but as a poorly-disguised-villain-as-hero, if you get me.

+ Oooh, I love your description of Wesley/Fred. That's what I like about it too, though I know that bugs the hell out of some people. As a straight romance, I don't care for them much.

Lol, I don't dislike Angel, I just... Ok, I do dislike Angel as a person, because there is some level of him that just annoys me deeply, and I can't explain it. But the poorly-disguised-villain-as-hero is FASCINATING, and I' m a great fun of how Spike calls him out on it constantly in s5. Actually s5 brings out all the things that are best in Angel, because clashing him with Spike takes away a part of the disguise; suddenly everything becomes more honest, and I get all: "OMG LET'S DISSECT ALL THOSE CHARACTERS AND SEE HOW THEY WORK!".

That's what I like about it too, though I know that bugs the hell out of some people.

Once I wanted to write myself a nice, fluffy, fix-it comfort fic in which Fred doesn't get killed by Illyria. I started figuring it out. Then I tried to imagine what would happen if Wesley and Fred could actualy carry on the way they were going, get a couple of days of this fairy tale love that was supposed to save them, and then break Vail's spell the way it was broken and suddenly remember all the dark things that happened between them. I concluded that killing Fred actually was a more merciful solution. THAT'S WHEN THIS SHIP GOT REALLY INTERESTING!

omg, how much do Wesley and Spike have in common

I'm obsessed by how similar their starting points are! Human William and young Wesley have SO MUCH IN COMMON! Of course their lives were different, and they aren't so similar any more, but there is some sort of foundation they share, and you can see that! The fact that they didn't get at least one epic scene in which they get drunk and talk about life is, like, THE WORST THING EVER.

HAHAHA GREAT STORY. Yeah, the fairytale love they had going on in S5 didn't do much for me, but something like "Billy"? Oh yeah. (No amount of therapy will fix me, etc. etc.)

WORD on Wes and Spike. They're both nerds who failed to live up to their society's idea of masculinity. *nod*
