Since I'm the kind of writer who works best when being enabled, I comebegging for prompts bearing gifts. I'm taking requests for next year, and the rules are ridiculously simple:
1. Give me a prompt (character/pairing + summary/song/quote/poem) and a month. Any fandom I'm familiar with is a fair game, but if you prompt something I'm not really comfortable with, I will ask you to reconsider ;).
2. I will write you a fic that is min. 1000 words long and post it according to schedule: one fic per month. I'll also take 6 freelance prompts with no specific deadline, which makes a total number of 18 fics to be posted in 2012.
3. If I decide that your prompt would make the most awesome Vampire Big Bang ever written, I'll shamelessly remove it from my schedule, put there one of the freelance prompts, and give you your fic when Big Bang posting happens.

You are so right, the Salvatore fics don't happen nearly as often as they should! Your rec request yesterday made me painfully aware of this fact. I've been thinking and thinking, and still I have nothing to offer except for one chaotic meta :(.
