Alaric in research mode (and his research mode was just perfect, that's exactly how a real historian would've done it!!!). Damon and Elena behaving like an old married couple (THANK GOD NO WEIRD WIBE! I loved how FRIENDLY everything was between them!). THE SALVATORE BROTHERS!!! I know, there are some things I should be critical about, but sorry, not today. Today my brain is clouded by Alaric & the Salvatores flail. This was the best episode of the bloody season. It was one of the best episodes of the bloody show. IT IS ALL ABOUT THE BROTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Screw you, Epic Romance! IT IS ALL ABOUT THE BROTHERS!!!
